our pastor: David Hauffman

     David began his ministry at St. Paul’s Church in January 2022 and oversees and leads the congregation here at St. Paul’s. David graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Bible from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL in May 2018 and graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte in December 2021. While in Chicago, David served as a High School Discipleship Leader at Calvary Memorial Church for all four years of his undergraduate and as a Youth Ministries Leader and Congregational Care Associate at Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church in Concord, NC while earning his MDiv. 

     David and his wife, Amber, are originally from Westminster, MD and have been married since August 2018. Amber served at Hilltop Assembly of God in Westminster, MD, in the nursery and as a Children’s Ministry Leader where she helped lead both Sunday school and Children’s Church for seven years. She is also currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling (MACC) degree from Reformed Theological Seminary.

     Together, they have one puppy, Rose,  newborn triplets (That’s right…TRIPLETS!!!) Eleazar, Dawson, and Barrett, and currently live in Westminster once again after moving back home from Charlotte, NC. David and Amber love food, sports, and fellowship! They are excited to be in ministry and happy to call St. Paul’s home.

Elders


  • Rich Gawrych

    Rich has been a Christian for over 40 years, and has a diverse background within different expressions of the Christian faith. He and his wife Pam have attended St. Paul's since 2008. Rich enjoys reading good books, and he can often be found perusing local bookstores in search of his next read.


  • John Jasinski

    John has served St. Paul’s as an Elder since January 2008. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for 55 years, and reside in a rural area just outside New Freedom, PA. He majored in Chemistry at Western Maryland College. John worked as a chemist for 34 years, conducting research and development in high temperature plastics and sealants for the electronics industry. He enjoys hunting, gardening and researching fantasy football.


  • Ken Nelson

    Ken has been worshiping at St. Paul’s for close to 12 years, alongside his wife Cathy. They have two adult children: Blaine & Kaycee. Ken and his wife live in the Westminster area, as do their children. He believes that God saved him at an early age, (eight) because he would require a lot more work than most. God has gifted Ken with the ability to be an Automotive Technician for over 36 years, and feels blessed to be self-employed. He helps with various aspects of the church worship environment to minimize distractions, and enable people to worship our Lord and Savior.
